Kashmie Ali has honed his skill set over the past 28 years in pre-openings, brand management, sales and marketing, hotel operations, repositioning, and asset management at hotels and resorts located throughout the Caribbean and the US.

In 2001 Ali’s career-path took him to the Caribbean where he joined Sandals Resorts International as Director of Operations for their properties in St. Lucia, Antigua, and Barbados. After his award-winning tenure at Sandals, Ali was appointed the Director of Operations for two of St. Lucia’s high-end boutique resorts: Jade Mountain and Anse Chastanet and also held the position of Vice President for the St. Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association.

By 2009 Ali had been appointed the new Managing Director at Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort & Spa in St. Thomas where he oversaw the transition of the Wyndham-managed property to an independently run and operated hotel. As performance levels increased exponentially under his guidance, Ali earned himself the moniker ‘Manager of Change,’ and was also elected Director of the US Virgin Islands Hotel Association.
